Robert is a director for the Business Process Solutions (BPS) practice area of P&A Grant Thornton. He also serves as the practice unit head for Human Capital Outsourcing Services. Robert is responsible for the overall supervision of human capital outsourcing engagements and ensures the effective and efficient delivery of services to clients.
Robert joined P&A Grant Thornton immediately after graduating from college and has since built solid experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation. In 2003, he transitioned to a private company, where he further honed his expertise in accounting and tax compliance. Two years later, he returned to P&A Grant Thornton to pursue his passion for outsourcing services. With over 20 years of experience in outsourcing, Robert has led engagements across a wide range of industries, including consumer products, manufacturing, communications, technology, pharmaceuticals, power generation, utilities, and professional services.
Robert earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Mesa. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), where he was a Firm Scholar under the Senior Executive Leadership Development Program. This program includes postgraduate certifications in General Management, Business Transformation, and Corporate Sustainability.
Robert further strengthened his leadership capabilities by completing the CFO Strategic Leadership Development Program at AIM, designed to equip finance leaders with the skills to become transformative and innovative organisational leaders.
As part of the Firm’s continuing education and learning initiatives, Robert participated in Grant Thornton’s Emerging Leaders Program held in Thailand. He also served as a coach in the Emerging Leaders Program in Vietnam, contributing to the development of future global leaders within the organisation.
