Chief Sustainability Officer; Partner, Advisory Services
Chris is a partner and the chief sustainability officer at P&A Grant Thornton. He is leading the Firm’s sustainability practice as well as the integration of sustainability into the Firm’s operations. He has previously served as head of Branches, partner in charge of Training for the Audit & Assurance practice area, and oversight partner for Internal Audit and Compliance of the Firm.
Chris has over 20 years of experience in the audit of local and multinational companies in a wide range of industries. He has led high-profile merger and acquisition, and IPO engagements.
In 2022, he joined the Advisory Services practice area of the Firm and focused on developing and leading the Firm’s sustainability practice. He also has significant experience in fraud and forensics, financial reporting and risk advisory, transaction advisory and internal audit.
Chris is actively promoting and advocating for sustainability through his participation in various sustainability forums and various activities of different organizations. He also writes articles on sustainability and related topics.
Before becoming a partner, Chris assisted in the Firm’s Technical Standards Group for six years while performing his regular client servicing responsibilities. He also assisted the Firm’s Risk Management partner in formulating and implementing risk management policies of the Firm.
Under P&A Grant Thornton’s global secondment program, Chris spent two years in the USA, where he worked for the Chicago office of Grant Thornton USA.
Chris has a master's degree in management from the Asian Institute of Management. He also completed the Executive Leadership Program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He finished as summa cum laude in Far Eastern University’s Accountancy Program.
