Working practices and the labor market as a whole are among those greatly impacted by the pandemic. In the resulting whirlwind of changes, from unexpected layoffs to the rise of independent contractors and remote work, it is imperative that employers and employees alike understand their respective rights and responsibilities.
To guide the public, P&A Grant Thornton’s Business Process Solutions division is set to conduct a webinar focused on the role of DOLE in mediating employer-employee relationships. Key areas of discussion include employer-related reports, forms to be submitted by the employer and the guidelines for filing such forms, as well as possible action points for companies and employees financially affected by the pandemic.
