This Tax Alert is issued to inform all concerned taxpayers on the work-around procedures in filing and payment of Quarterly Remittance Return of Final Income Taxes Withheld (BIR Form 1601-FQ) for the first quarter of CY 2021 which is due on April 30, 2021.
All mandated users of eBIRForms whose nature of income payment were affected by the amendments in final withholding tax rates pursuant to CREATE Law, shall use the Payment Form (BIR Form 0605) in paying the final tax due.
Filing of the BIR Form 1601-FQ shall be done after the adjustments to the return is completed. The BIR will issue the appropriate advisory for this.
