Seb is a director in the Advisory Services practice area of P&A Grant Thornton. He is primarily responsible for managing the overall conduct of the engagement, meeting overall contractual obligations, and maintaining quality assurance.
Seb has been in public accounting since he started his professional career. He has gained solid experience in the audit of local and multinational companies in a wide range of industries with a concentration on financial institutions. He has also been involved in financial due diligence and other financial and/or special engagements. In his transfer to Advisory Services, he handled various valuation, financial risk, due diligence, and financial reporting advisory works.
His sectoral experience includes banks, other financial institutions, energy and power, manufacturing, real estate and construction, non-stock, non-profit organisations, business process outsourcing and other service industries.
Seb has performed several IFRS 9 consultancy and advisory services in the Philippines and overseas such as IFRS 9 transition, implementation, review and validation of business and ECL models and review and validation for banks and quasi-banks.
