As a director of the Business Process Solutions practice area, Robert is responsible for the overall supervision of an accounting engagement and the effective and efficient delivery of services to clients. Part of his responsibility is to ensure client satisfaction and to develop and retain high performance staff.
Robert joined P&A Grant Thornton right after graduating college and has since gained solid experience in accounting, auditing and taxation work. He moved to a private company in 2003, where he was able to further hone his accounting and taxation skills. Two years later, he rejoined the Firm to pursue his passion for outsourcing work.
His experience covers varied industries such as consumer products, manufacturing, communication, technology, pharmaceuticals, power generation, utilities and services.
Robert holds a postgraduate degree in General Management from the Asian Institute of Management and has completed the Chief Finance Officer Leadership Development Program at the same institution. He has also taken a course in Enhancing Your Supervisory Skills at the De La Salle University Graduate School of Business and earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Mesa.
Robert is also a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA) and a Certified Management Accountant and Certified Lean Six Sigma.
