Annual and short period audit
At P&A Grant Thornton, we provide annual and short period financial statement audit services that go beyond the normal expectations of our clients. We believe strongly that our best work comes from combining outstanding technical expertise, knowledge and ability with exceptional client-focused service.
Review engagement
A review involves limited investigation with a narrower scope than an audit, and is undertaken for the purpose of providing limited assurance that the management’s representations are in accordance with identified financial reporting standards. Our professionals recognize that in order to conduct a quality financial statement review, it is important to look beyond the accounting entries to the underlying activities and operations that give rise to them.

Mabel is a Partner in the Audit & Assurance Practice Area of P&A Grant Thornton. In addition to her client-servicing responsibilities, Mabel also heads the Firm’s Quality and Risk Management Group.

Mabel has been in public accounting for her entire professional career, gaining extensive experience in the audit of local and multinational companies where she covered various industries including financial institutions, real estate, construction, petroleum, semiconductors, entertainment, brokers and dealers in securities, manufacturing, retail and distribution, not-for-profit, and business process outsourcing.

As a participant in P&A Grant Thornton’s global exchange program, she worked for nearly two years with a leading international firm in Toronto, Canada. Mabel completed her Master of Management from the Asian Institute of Management, the Advanced Management Program from the Wharton Executive Education, University of Pennsylvania, and her bachelor’s degree in accountancy, cum laude, from Sta. Isabel College.
