2022 has placed a sharp focus on promoting workers’ rights and welfare. With that said, the first step to advocating for fair treatment in the workplace is for employees to know the laws and benefits available to them. The Employees’ Compensation Committee (ECC) is but one organization devoted to protecting employees against occupational hazards and risks.
To guide the public, P&A Grant Thornton’s Business Process Solutions division will conduct a webinar focused on the role of the ECC as the primary agency responsible for the Employees’ Compensation Program (ECP). Key areas of discussion include the individuals covered by the ECC, medical services and other benefits included under the ECP, as well as guidelines for claiming benefits by private sector and government employees.
The webinar will feature a Q&A portion wherein participants may directly ask questions from the invited speakers. During the session, an ECC representative will provide clarifications and guidance for the following topics:
