Annual and short period audit
At P&A Grant Thornton, we provide annual and short period financial statement audit services that go beyond the normal expectations of our clients. We believe strongly that our best work comes from combining outstanding technical expertise, knowledge and ability with exceptional client-focused service.
Review engagement
A review involves limited investigation with a narrower scope than an audit, and is undertaken for the purpose of providing limited assurance that the management’s representations are in accordance with identified financial reporting standards. Our professionals recognize that in order to conduct a quality financial statement review, it is important to look beyond the accounting entries to the underlying activities and operations that give rise to them.

Ariel is a Partner in the Audit and Assurance Practice Area of P&A Grant Thornton. Formerly, he was a manager for the Firm’s Ethics and Independence Group.

As a homegrown employee, Ariel has been in public accounting since he started his professional career at P&A Grant Thornton in 2013 after obtaining the 13th highest overall rating in the October 2013 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examination. He has extensive experience in the financial audits of various local and multinational companies in a wide range of industries, including publicly listed entities. He also has significant experience in financial due-diligence procedures and review engagements.

As part of P&A Grant Thornton’s global secondment program, Ariel spent a year and a half in the United Kingdom (UK), where he worked for the Milton Keynes office of Grant Thornton UK LLP. While in the UK, he handled financial audits of various companies. Ariel also participated in Grant Thornton’s Emerging Leaders Programme in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, in 2023.

Ariel earned his Accountancy degree, magna cum laude and class valedictorian, from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Taguig Campus. Moreover, he participated in the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Leadership Development Program.
