Course Description:
This is a comprehensive program designed to provide participants with advanced skills and practical knowledge in financial modeling and analysis. Through a combination of theoretical concepts, hands-on exercises, and real-world case studies, participants will learn how to develop sophisticated financial models and conduct in-depth analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business success.
Objectives:
By the end of the session, participants will have a thorough understanding of the following:
- Explore financial modeling best practices, optimal model design and flow, and financial statements.
- Practice advanced Excel techniques and enable participants to build advanced financial models using Excel and other relevant tools, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
- Participants will learn how to construct dynamic and robust financial models that can adapt to changing assumptions and scenarios, incorporating sensitivity analysis and scenario planning techniques.
- Participants will become proficient in various forecasting methods and techniques, such as time series analysis, regression analysis, and financial modeling, to predict future financial performance accurately.
- Participants will gain hands-on experience applying financial modeling techniques to real-world scenarios, including budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and decision-making processes.
- Participants will become proficient in applying DCF valuation methodology within financial models, including the steps involved in forecasting cash flows, selecting appropriate discount rates, and calculating terminal values.
