GT Global CSR Day Activities
In line with Grant Thornton’s 3rd Global CSR Day, P&A Grant Thornton conducted different Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities simultaneously in different parts of the country on September 15, 2017.
Goods for Marawi Relief Program
It is in the Spirit of Grant Thornton people to help the needy, especially in times of crisis. With this, P&Ause Davao, collaborated with Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Pamantasan ng Ateneo de Davao to hand over relief goods for the victims of Marawi war. Relief goods were packed to cater seventy five families, and were handed over to Ateneo de Davao University on August 4, 2017.
Project Aruga with UP-JPIA
P&Ause, in partnership with the University of the Philippines - Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (UP-JPIA), reached out to Apolinario Mabini National High School (Mabini, Batangas) on June 10, 2017 to donate some books and tents that the students could temporarily use as classrooms since the newly constructed building on the school was heavily-damaged by the earthquake.
Bags to School Project and Financial Literacy Seminar
The Cebu Federation-Junior Philippines Institute of Accountants (CF-JPIA) partnered with P&Ause and the University of Cebu - Lapu Lapu and Manduae JPIA Chapters for the “Bags to School Project and Financial Literacy Seminar” at Opao Elementary School located at Barangay Opao, Mandaue City.
Project Handog with USC-JPIA
Last January 9, 2017, P&Ause Cebu in partnership with the University of San Carlos - Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (USC-JPIA) had a community extension service in the year-long adopted community of JPIA in Camolinas Housing, Cordova. Called “JPIA Handog” the program organized seminars that aimed to instill the importance of health and hygiene and to orient the community on ways to improve their income.
P&Amasko 2016
In collaboration with administrations of Ospital ng Makati and Ospital ng Maynila, P&Ause held its annual Christmas party and gift-giving program called P&Amasko last December 23, 2016.
GT in the Community 2016
As part of Grant Thornton’s international network, P&A Grant Thornton participated in the 2016 Global CSR Day thru its CSR arm led by P&Ause. Four simultaneous activities were conducted in P&A Grant Thornton’s offices in Makati, Cavite, Cebu, and Davao.
Kids @ Heart
P&Ause and the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) – De La Salle University – Manila Chapter successfully conducted Kids @ Heart at the Hospicio de San Jose in Ayala Bridge, Quiapo, Manila last July 30, 2016.
World Vision Run 2016: Run for Health & Nutrition
P&Ause volunteers participated once again in the World Vision Run on June 26, 2016 in Blue Bay Walk, Pasay City. Several P&A Grant Thornton staff members registered and joined the run.
P&Ause Package: EduKahon 2016
In partnership with the University of the Philippines – Diliman – Junior Philippines Institute of Accountants (UP-JPIA), P&Ause held a second run of its EduKahon program at Apolinario Mabini High School in Mabini, Batangas on June 18, 2016.
