THE Bureau of Internal Revenue has issued Revenue Regulations 5-2019, implementing the tax incentives provisions of Republic Act (RA) 10771, or the “Philippine Green Jobs Act of 2016.”

Perhaps a resolution to this is that your actions should be seen as gradient and continuous, rather than isolated extremes. Decisions made should always align with your goal.

Just yesterday, millions of registered Filipino voters headed to their respective precincts to exercise their rights to suffrage. In line with protecting the rights and welfare of women and preserving a healthy family life, the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 11210, otherwise known as the 105-Day Expanded Maternity Leave Law, were signed on May 1, 2019.

Less than a week from now, we will have our midterm elections. One of the buzzwords we often hear from voters on who they would vote for is authenticity. Authenticity is defined as being true to one’s belief, character and personality. In short, we want our politicians to show who they truly are. It is the degree to which an individual’s actions are aligned with their beliefs and desires. During the campaign period, we try to determine who is authentic and who is simply faking it. Do they believe in honesty, or do they believe that lying can justify the end? Is eating using your hands being authentic?
