P&AgSagip: Typhoon Odette CSR Project
The P&Agsagip: Typhoon Odette CSR Project, a collaboration between the Tax Division, P&Ause, and P&A Foundation in partnership with the GMA Kapuso Foundation, was launched last December 23, with staff members collecting donations for affected communities. P&Ahalipay: Pakig-usa sa paghatag ug kalipay
P&A Foundation, together with its staff members from P&A Grant Thornton Cebu branch, earlier launched P&Ahalipay: Pakig-usa sa Paghatag ug Kalipay (Gift to make people happy: Being united in giving joy) as part of GT in the Community 2021. The project aims to spark happiness for children who were abandoned by their parents and children diagnosed with cancer.
P&Askwela: A Brigada Eskwela Project Year 2021
P&A Foundation and P&A for a Cause participated in last year's Brigada Eskwela 2021: Bayanihan Para sa Paaralan by giving cash assistance to eight (8) public schools across the country. The donations were intended to help the schools in purchasing printers, bond papers, ink, and other supplies which will be used in their modular learning activities. The Foundation selected schools in Pangasinan, Cavite, Bataan, Zamboanga, Laguna, and Metro Manila. The said donations benefited more than 14,000 learners.
P&Agtulong: Hagupit sa Habagat sa Bataan Response Project
Due to the effect of southwest monsoon (Habagat) and continuous heavy rains during the last week of July, most areas in Bataan were submerged in flood and some areas were declared under a state of calamity.
Project P&Athfinder
In support of PUP-JPIA’s D’ISKOnnected: One Fight Against Digital Divide, an initiative that aims to help greatly affected students at the university to adapt to new modes of learning, Business Process Solutions Assistant Manager and P&A for a Cause Chair Mitch Vicente, together with P&Ause members Shelle Macatugob and Wenchie Buen, turned over desktops and a check donation last August 5, 2021.
22nd Search for Outstanding Accounting Students of the Philippines (SOASP)
Last May 29, P&A Foundation, Inc. held the 22nd Search for Outstanding Accounting Students of the Philippines. The event, held in partnership with the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Commerce and Industry (ACPACI), is an annual nationwide competition which aims to shine the spotlight on the country’s top accountancy students through qualifying examinations and interviews.
