TRAIN law for business owners, non-accountants on April 27
14 Apr 2018THE Philippine Institute of Certified Accountants (PICPA)-Cebu Chapter, through its president, Gerald “Sugar” B. Sagarino, announced the holding of a seminar on the Tax Reform for Acceleration (TRAIN)-Package 1.
The seminar will be held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel on April 27 at 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
P&A Grant Thornton partner and Cebu and Davao head Wendell Ganhinhin will be the main speaker.
Called “What We Need To Know About the TRAIN Law,” the seminar is primarily aimed at business owners and non-accountants.
The TRAIN law, which lowers the income taxes but imposes excise taxes on some goods such as sugary beverages, took effect on Jan. 1 this year.
