Michs is a managing consultant under the Advisory Services practice area of P&A Grant Thornton, with expertise in business management and global business challenges.
Prior to joining the Firm, he held key roles in both academic and public sector institutions. He served as the sole research consultant for the Asian Institute of Management, a training and education consultant for the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, and a senior lecturer at the University of the Philippines Diliman. These experiences have shaped his strong foundation in research, education, and policy-oriented work.
Currently, Michs also serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the Asian Institute of Management’s School for Executive Education and Lifelong Learning. With over nine years of professional experience, he has delivered a wide range of services to both government and private sector clients across industries such as tourism, transportation, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, education, and death care.
He is actively engaged in various professional and academic organizations, including the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) International Business Honor Society, the National Research Council of the Philippines, the Institute of Internal Auditors Philippines, Emerald Publishing as a reviewer, and a member of the Southeast Asian Leadership Network.
Michs holds a Master of Science in Management – Global Business Challenges from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Management – Business Management from the University of the Philippines, and a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of the Philippines, where he graduated cum laude.
