Annual and short period audit
At P&A Grant Thornton, we provide annual and short period financial statement audit services that go beyond the normal expectations of our clients. Review engagement
A review involves limited investigation with a narrower scope than an audit, and is undertaken for the purpose of providing limited assurance that the management’s representations are in accordance with identified financial reporting standards. Our professionals recognize that in order to conduct a quality financial statement review, it is important to look beyond the accounting entries to the underlying activities and operations that give rise to them.

Vier is the vice chairman and deputy managing partner of P&A Grant Thornton.

Vier is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a lawyer. He has been in public accounting since he passed the October 1999 CPA licensure examination, where he obtained the 16th highest overall rating.

Vier conducts tax compliance and due diligence reviews, handles Court of Tax Appeals litigation support services, and provides advisory services on issues affecting individual and corporate taxpayers. He also assists clients in handling their tax assessments and other compliance requirements with the Bureau of Internal Revenue and other regulatory agencies.

Vier also has extensive experience in the audit of local and multinational companies in a wide range of industries. Vier earned his Bachelor of Laws degree from San Beda College. Prior to that, he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of the East, where he was recognized as the Most Outstanding University Graduate and a College Academic Excellence awardee. He also completed the Grant Thornton International’s Advanced Managers Programme Series in the United States, Germany, and India.
