Towards a more sustainable and resilient business landscape!
Sustainability-related risks and opportunities are increasingly influencing how organizations manage uncertainty, allocate resources, and plan for long-term growth.
As expectations continue to evolve, businesses must understand how sustainability and climate considerations may affect their operations, strategies, financial prospects, and ability to create long-term value. Organizations must also be able to identify emerging risks and opportunities, consider different future scenarios, and integrate sustainability into risk management, strategic planning, and decision-making.
P&A Grant Thornton invites you to “Future-ready Business: Sustainability, Risk, and Resilience,” the fourth run of its Clark Seminar Series 2026.
The seminar is suitable for professionals in supervisory to managerial positions who seek to strengthen their understanding of sustainability and IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 practices.
This face-to-face training will cover three key topics:
Topic 1: Introduction to IFRS S1 and IFRS S2
Participants will be introduced to the foundations of IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 and their relevance to sustainability- and climate-related financial disclosures. The discussion will provide a clearer understanding of how sustainability considerations may influence an organization’s strategy, risk management, decision-making, and long-term value proposition.
Topic 2: Sustainability-related risks and opportunities
Participants will explore how organizations can identify sustainability- and climate-related risks and opportunities that may affect their business prospects. An interactive sustainability risk and opportunity mapping activity will allow participants to apply these concepts and identify issues that may be relevant to their organizations.
Topic 3: Organizational resilience
Participants will explore how organizations can respond to sustainability-related risks and opportunities by strengthening their ability to anticipate, adapt to, and recover from change. The discussion will connect sustainability considerations with practical approaches to organizational resilience and long-term value creation.
By the end of the seminar, participants will be able to:
- Develop an appreciation of the foundations on IFRS S1 and S2 to improve value proposition;
- Identify sustainability related risks and opportunities based on IFRS S1 and S2 using scenario analysis; and
- Gain practical competency on the concepts to redesign their business to achieve organizational resilience.
