Lucky Cimatu

L is a senior managing consultant in the Advisory Services practice area of P&A Grant Thornton. He is primarily responsible for the Firm's sustainability and climate services as the lead sustainability reporting officer.\

L has supported the Firm's sustainability leader in pioneering the development of sustainability practice as well as integration of sustainability into the operations of the Firm. Prior to joining P&A Grant Thornton, he was part of a global payment technology company based in the US (Fortune 500), and a big 4 auditing firm. 

L is a member of the Philippine Sustainability Reporting Committee of the Financial and Sustainability Reporting Standards Council – Technical Working Group; Department of Natural Resources EPR – Technical Working Group; and Philippine Society of Sustainability Practitioners.

L has more than 8 years of combined experience in sustainability reporting, integration of sustainability with enterprise risk management, GHG accounting, ESG advisory, internal audit transformation, controls transformation, business process review, SOX controls testing, IT general and applications controls review, and compliance reviews.

L earned his bachelor's degree in accountancy at New Era University. He is currently taking up a master's degree in Sustainability Management at Ateneo de Manila University.
