When you open your computer, how safe are you?

Technology has become deeply integrated into our lives that we have become dependent on it. But this dependence makes us vulnerable. In today's world, it's important that we know if technology - and the information that flows through it is protected, and secure.

In this brown bag session, we learned more about cybersecurity threats from the people who are at the "frontline" of the cyberwar. One of the highlights of the session was a "live" demonstration of a cyber-attack.

Our speaker, Roland Ong, is the territory manager and cybersecurity solutions architect and consultant for Cybersecurity firm FireEye Inc. He is responsible for technical solutions architecture addressing the new threat landscape in the cyberspace domain. Prior to FireEye, he was the Asia Pacific lead for Cisco’s Global Defense and Space Group responsible for Network Centric warfare and Network Centric Operation. Roland is also commissioned in the AFP as an Army Officer (reserve) with a rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
