Availability of offline eBIR Forms Package Version 7.2

THE Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) released Revenue Memorandum Circular 93-2018 last Oct. 31 announcing the availability of the offline electronic BIR Forms (eBIRForms) Package Version 7.2.

The latest version is now accessible through www.bir.gov.ph and www.knowyourtaxes.ph. The package also includes revised BIR Forms, namely BIR Form 1601C (monthly remittance return of final taxes withheld on compensation), BIR Form 1602Q (quarterly remittance return of final taxes withheld on interest paid on deposits and deposit substitutes/trusts/etc.), BIR Form 1603Q (quarterly remittance return of final income taxes withheld on fringe benefits paid to employees other than rank and file), and BIR Form 2551Q (quarterly percentage return).

To use the eBIRForms package, follow these steps:

-Download, install, and run eBIRForms Package Version 7.2;

-Create a profile by providing a valid taxpayer identification number (TIN), revenue district office (RDO) code, line of business, registered name, registered address, zip code, telephone number and active email address;

-Choose from the list of BIR forms, and then click “Fill up.” Re-enter the TIN and email address to confirm that the provided information are correct;

-Accomplish the selected tax return, and then click the “Validate” button. If there are any changes to make, click the “Edit” button. Make sure to click the “Validate” button after every change made;

-Click the “Submit/Final Copy” button, and then fully and unconditionally agree to the terms of service agreement by clicking “Agree.” A system-generated confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided.
