This Accounting Alert is issued to circulate Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 6-2024 dated March 27, 2024, which covers the updated fines and penalties on the late and non-submission of audited financial statements (AFS), General Information Sheet (GIS), and non-compliance with SEC MC 28-2020.
Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) open on April 6 and 13, 2024 and extend banking hours to 5:00 P.M. for the period April 1-15, 2024 to accept tax returns/payments
This Tax Alert is issued to inform all concerned taxpayers that in accordance with Memorandum of Agreement executed by the Authorized Agent Banks (AABs), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and the Bureau of the Treasury, AABs are open on two (2) consecutive Saturdays prior to April 15, i.e. April 6 and 13, and extend its banking hours from 3:00pm to 5:00pm for the period of April 1 to April 15, 2024 to accept tax returns/payments of internal revenue taxes.
