Annual and short period audit
At P&A Grant Thornton, we provide annual and short period financial statement audit services that go beyond the normal expectations of our clients. Review engagement
A review involves limited investigation with a narrower scope than an audit, and is undertaken for the purpose of providing limited assurance that the management’s representations are in accordance with identified financial reporting standards. Our professionals recognize that in order to conduct a quality financial statement review, it is important to look beyond the accounting entries to the underlying activities and operations that give rise to them.

Wowie is a Partner in P&A Grant Thornton’s Tax Advisory and Compliance Practice Area. He is also the Head of the Japan Business Desk of the Firm.

Wowie has been in public accounting since he started his professional career in 1995 when he completed his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He has gained solid experience in the audit of local and multinational companies where he covered various industries including consumer products manufacturing, communications, technology, pharmaceuticals, utilities, energy, transportation, and entertainment.

He initially joined P&A Grant Thornton’s Tax Advisory and Compliance Practice Area as a tax semi-senior, supervising engagements that determined clients’ compliance with tax rules and regulations. He represents clients in tax cases before the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Department of Finance, addresses queries on tax and other corporate concerns, handles registration matters and other requirements for doing business in the Philippines, and conducts research on issues affecting individual and corporate taxpayers. Lastly, Wowie completed his undergraduate studies in the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, earning a bachelor's degree in accountancy.
