Submitting the quarterly alphabetical list of payees (QAP)

IN line with submitting the quarterly alphabetical list of payees (QAP) under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued a tax advisory on April 24 instructing taxpayers on how to make use of the new Alphalist Data Entry and Validation Module Version 6.0.

The module can be downloaded from the BIR website at www.bir.gov.ph on “Downloadables” under the section “Alphalist Data Entry and Validation Module Version 6.0 (new).” Taxpayers are advised to follow the instructions stated in the section to install the module.

The QAP must be attached to the Quarterly Remittance Return of creditable income taxes withheld (expanded) [BIR Form No. 1601-EQ] and quarterly remittance return of final income taxes withheld [BIR Form No. 1601-FQ] under Revenue Regulations No. 11-2018, as amended. The attachment must be submitted either through the e-submission facility (esubmission@bir.gov.ph) or through the email account of the revenue district officer.

The QAP must be submitted on or before the last day of the month following the close of the quarter.

Please be guided accordingly.
